HLT47315 - Certificate IV in Health Administration qualification will require the completion of work place assessment task(s) in a relevant work place setting for the following units listed below:
• HLTWHS003 Maintain work health and safety - Skills must be demonstrated in the workplace.
In addition, simulations and scenarios must be used where the full range of contexts and situations cannot be provided in the workplace or may occur only rarely. These are situations relating to emergency or unplanned procedures where assessment in these circumstances would be unsafe or is impractical.
Simulated assessment environments must simulate the real-life working environment where these skills and knowledge would be performed, with all the relevant equipment and resources of that working environment.
Assessment must ensure use of:
• current workplace policies and procedures for WHS.

• HLTINF003-Implement and monitor infection prevention and control policies and procedures - Skills must have been demonstrated in the workplace with the addition of simulations and scenarios where the full range of contexts and situations have not been provided in the workplace or may occur only rarely.
The following conditions must be met for this unit:
• use of suitable facilities, equipment and resources, including:
• organisational infection prevention and control policies and procedures
• personal protective equipment
• hand washing facilities and equipment
• medical or client care equipment relevant to the workplace
• clinical and other waste
• areas for cleaning
• modelling of industry operating conditions, including:
• interaction with a team
• presence of real or simulated risks, hazards and infection prevention and control problems to which the candidate responds

For Recognition of Prior Learning, attach your evidence to a completed Enrolment Adjustment – Credit – Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) form and submit for assessment.

Trainees: From 2016 if you are starting a traineeship that is on the NSW Skills List, your Smart and Skilled fee for the whole qualification will not be more than $1,000.

This training is subsidised by the NSW government under Smart and Skilled. The student fee you will need to pay, will be determined according to your personal circumstances and eligibility for a subsidised place, you may also be eligible for a concession fee, fee exemption or fee free scholarship. Payment by instalments is available.

You may continue with an enrolment into this course if you are not eligible for subsidised training, however the full training fee will be applicable. There are conditions to enrolment if you are a Temporary Visa Holder. To discuss your visa status and eligibility to enrol please phone 131 241.
