This course will equip you to be able to respond to an emergency first aid situation in an education and care setting.

This course is the recognised First Aid Course for those working in Early Childhood Education and Care. The course will support you through an online resource, online quiz assessments and a one (1) day face to face practical session which includes additional assessments. Please note: the First Aid practical assessment requires students to be physically able to perform CPR on the floor for a period of two (2) minutes, in multiple scenarios. Additional practical assessments are required to assess skills in a variety of First Aid emergencies. All practical assessments need to be completed on the day. Once enrolled, students can call the TAFE Digital Children's Services team to book in for an upcoming practical session.
