This short course examines the recent changes to the legislation relating to underquoting price estimates for salespeople working in the property industry. It includes communicating with clients, definitions and new terminology, price substantiation and keeping written records. In New South Wales the renewal of a licence or certificate of registration is conditional on the holders undertaking Continuing Professional Development (CPD) each year. This course meets the requirements for 12 CPD points and has been developed in accordance with the NSW Office of Fair Trading requirements for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for the purposes of licence and certificate renewals under the Property, Stock and Business Agents Act 2002.

Are there any additional entry requirements?

A number of courses may require prospective students to provide additional information such as documentation, an expression of interest, evidence that you are already employed as an apprentice, or preferred prior study (or equivalent).

In New South Wales the renewal of a licence or certificate of registration is conditional on the holders undertaking Continual Professional Developmnet (CPD) each year. This unit examines the requirements that prevent underquoting and other recent legislative changes. There is requirement that the learning resource and assessment take four hours to complete.

Credit (or recognition) for modules/units may be granted based on previous learning, studies, work and/or life experiences. Please discuss this with the teaching section when you enrol.

To apply for recognition in one or more units you must clearly show that you have the equivalent and relevant skills, knowledge and experience of the unit or group of units.

For Credit transfer where you have completed previous studies either with TAFE NSW or with another tertiary provider complete the Enrolment Adjustment - Credit - Previous Studies form, and include any required evidence.

For Recognition of Prior Learning, attach your evidence to a completed Enrolment Adjustment – Credit – Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) form and submit for assessment.
