Are you keen for a career in real estate? Join TAFE NSW's Statement of Attainment in Property Services (Real Estate Salesperson) to gain awareness of the legal and statutory registration requirements to become a registered Real Estate Salesperson in New South Wales. This course will teach you fundamental real estate industry processes, including important consumer and agency risk management procedures, as well as how to interpret ethical and licensing requirements.
You will also learn how to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds as part of the buying, selling, exchange, lease and other management of land. Use this course to help prepare for your Certificate of Registration in Real Estate – i.e. your NSW real estate license – or as a platform to undertake more advanced real estate agent courses and property services training.

This is an online course. You will need to complete approximately 5 hours of online study, over a week, for your enrolment duration of 26 weeks.
You can increase the hours of online study per week to complete the course sooner.

You can also expect to complete approximately 2 hours of additional study each week outside of class hours, including private study, research, assignment preparation and case studies.

Are there any additional entry requirements?

A number of courses may require prospective students to provide additional information such as documentation, an expression of interest, evidence that you are already employed as an apprentice, or preferred prior study (or equivalent).

To successfully complete this course, TAFE Digital recommends that you have access to a reliable computer and Internet, email address and printer/scanner.

Credit (or recognition) for modules/units may be granted based on previous learning, studies, work and/or life experiences. Please discuss this with the teaching section when you enrol.

Entry level real estate agency trainee, registered urban real estate operative, salesperson, property manager, assistant salesperson/property manager.

Completion of this course provides you with advanced standing in a range of Property Development, Sales and Management qualifications such as: Certificate III in Property Services (Agency), Certificate III in Property Services (Operations), Certificate IV in Property Services (Stock and Station Agency), Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate).

You don't need to study what you already know! The skills, knowledge and experience you have gained from your previous learning, work experience and life in general may be taken into account.

To apply for recognition in one or more units you must clearly show that you have the equivalent and relevant skills, knowledge and experience of the unit or group of units.

For Credit transfer where you have completed previous studies either with TAFE NSW or with another tertiary provider complete the Enrolment Adjustment - Credit - Previous Studies form, and include any required evidence.

For Recognition of Prior Learning, attach your evidence to a completed Enrolment Adjustment – Credit – Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) form and submit for assessment.
