This course is only available to Electricians whose licenses have lapsed in the last 5 years or prospective students who meet one of the Licensing Pathway categories shown on the Fair Trading NSW website.
Are there any additional entry requirements?
A number of courses may require prospective students to provide additional information such as documentation, an expression of interest, evidence that you are already employed as an apprentice, or preferred prior study (or equivalent).
To be enrolled in this course, you must be able to provide evidence that you:
- have completed the self-assessment tool from the Department of Fair Trading
To successfully complete this course, you will need to:
- Pass the two-part theory examination. This may include the completion of the assignment supplied to the learner (completion of the assignment is compulsory if you are unsuccessful in the first attempt at the test, so we encourage doing the assignment first)
Credit (or recognition) for modules/units may be granted based on previous learning, studies, work and/or life experiences. Please discuss this with the teaching section when you enrol.
