Fees and Financial Assistance

Getting Started

Services for Students

Centrelink offers a range of payments and services which you may be eligible for whilst studying or training.

These include:

  • Youth Allowance
  • Austudy
  • Pensioner Education Supplement and
  • Health Care Card

Visit the Studying or training webpage on the Centrelink website for more details.

You can now claim Youth Allowance and Austudy online, report your income and even find out when you'll be paid with Centrelink's Self Service.

There are lots of things that can affect your payments: changes to your income, a different study load or even moving in with someone. Avoid a debt by letting Centrelink know when your situation changes.

Additional information can be found on our Concessions and Exemptions page.
